I chose this title because the piece carries an ambient feeling built from layered textures of electric guitar, processed sound, and gentle percussion. 木漏れ日 expresses the inexpressible: a quiet moment, a fleeting light, a stillness that doesn’t ask to be named, only felt.

01100011 01101000 01100001 01101111 01110011 translates to “chaos” in binary. The piece explores the relationship between structure and disorder, using the acoustic voices of the oboe and bass clarinet.

The work unfolds through extreme dynamic contrasts and extended techniques—multiphonics and unconventional articulations—transforming familiar instrumental tones into sounds that mimic digital glitches and distortions.
